Join Ava and Mason as they navigate a new life amidst the pandemic. The world has changed forever, and we owe it to our kids to help them process all that’s happened. Our little ones also went through a period of uncertainty, fear, and confusion. Now that the world is recovering, it’s time to help children answer one very important question: what happens now?

Twins Ava and Mason have gone through some big changes. They had to learn how to study from home and could only see their teachers and classmates through their computers. It was nice, but it took some time to get used to staring at screens. Not seeing their friends was also a bit tough. Who would have thought they would actually miss going to school? The siblings also noticed how the pandemic affected their parents. Their dad now worked from home while their mom spent long hours taking care of sick people at the hospital. Despite these changes, the two made use of their time well and picked up new hobbies and skills. Staying at home wasn’t all bad. Ava and Mason learned to celebrate big and small victories. They were beyond happy when they got to hug their grandparents, who just received their inoculation. The kids also felt ecstatic when they finally got the chance to return to the playground. Of course, they were extra careful! Explaining sensitive topics about the pandemic to children is a challenge. Parents have to find a way that speaks to their experiences as kids. Ava and Mason are just like any other children, and their beautifully illustrated and written story will help spread a message of hope and love that kids will understand.
